I’m currently spending some time at the beautiful and vibrant beaches of Tarifa, Spain. Known for its strong winds, Tarifa has become a haven for kitesurfers from around the world. The energy and passion of the kitesurfing community here are truly infectious, and I couldn’t help but be inspired by the countless kitesurfing schools and the colorful kites dotting the sky.
A New Design Concept for Surf Schools
Being surrounded by this dynamic atmosphere sparked an idea in me. I decided to channel this inspiration into a new design project – a mock-up for a surf school website. The goal was to create a design that reflects the youthful, vibrant, and urban spirit of the kitesurfing culture here in Tarifa.
The design features bright, bold colors and a modern, hip layout that captures the essence of the kitesurfing community. I wanted to ensure the design felt fresh and engaging, providing a great user experience while reflecting the unique identity of a surf school.
The Design Process
Although I primarily work with WordPress and Elementor, this particular design project was created using Figma and Photoshop. It was a fantastic experience to step out of my usual workflow and try something different. The result is a visually appealing and highly functional homepage that could serve as a template for surf schools looking to revamp their online presence.
